Terms and Conditions

The Rules for Using Elite Kids

These terms set out what you can expect from us, what we expect from you, and the rules that apply when you buy a workbook or join a programme. We have written them in plain English so you do not need a lawyer to understand them.

Last updated: April 2026

The Short Version

By using our website, buying a workbook or joining a programme, you agree to these terms. Our workbooks are licensed for use in one household only. Once you download a workbook the sale is final. Programme bookings can be cancelled with 48 hours notice for a full refund. We retain copyright in everything we produce. If you have a question or a concern, email elitekids@mindbe-education.com and we will sort it out.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By visiting this website, buying any of our products, or joining any of our programmes, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or buy from us.

If you are buying on behalf of a child, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian and that you accept these terms on the child's behalf.

2. Who We Are

Elite Kids is an English language learning brand. We design and sell printable English workbooks for kindergarten, primary and secondary students, and run training programmes including Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival preparation and one-to-one writing.

References to "we", "us" and "our" mean Elite Kids. References to "you" and "your" mean the person using the site or buying our products.

You can contact us any time at elitekids@mindbe-education.com.

3. Use of the Website

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else's use of the site.

You must not:

  • Use the site in any way that breaks any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, our systems, or the systems of our service providers.
  • Send unsolicited or unauthorised promotional material through any contact form.
  • Introduce viruses, malware or any other harmful code.
  • Scrape, copy, mirror or republish content from this site without our written permission.

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate access for anyone who breaks these rules.

4. Products and Services

We sell two main types of product:

Digital workbooks

Printable PDF workbooks for kindergarten, primary and secondary students. You buy and download them once. Your purchase covers your own household only. Full details of the licence are in section 6.

Programmes

Live tuition and coaching services. These currently include the One-to-One Writing programme and Speech Festival training. Programmes are run on a per-place basis and may have specific dates, group sizes and prerequisites set out at the time of booking.

We try to describe every product as accurately as possible. Some details (page counts, sample pages, programme schedules) are estimates and may change without notice. If a product is materially different from what we described, we will offer a refund or replacement.

5. Orders, Payment and Pricing

All prices on the website are in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD) and include any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. We may change prices at any time. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.

Workbook orders are processed through E-junkie, who handles your payment via Stripe or PayPal. Your card details are not stored by us. After payment is confirmed, you will receive an email with a download link delivered through VIP Member Vault.

Programme bookings are confirmed when payment is received. You will get a separate email with joining instructions, scheduling details and any preparation materials.

If your card is declined or your payment fails, your order is not complete. Please try a different payment method or contact us for help.

6. Workbook Licence and Permitted Use

When you buy a workbook from us, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use that workbook for educational purposes in one household. This is the most important commercial term in this document, so please read it carefully.

You ARE permitted to:

  • Download the workbook to your own personal devices.
  • Print copies for use within your own household.
  • Use the workbook with your own children or with children for whom you are the legal guardian.
  • Keep your purchased copy indefinitely for personal household use.

You ARE NOT permitted to:

  • Share, send, upload or distribute the workbook file to anyone outside your household.
  • Post the workbook on file-sharing sites, cloud drives, messaging groups or social media.
  • Resell, sublicense, rent or otherwise commercialise the workbook.
  • Use the workbook in a tutoring, school or commercial teaching setting with multiple unrelated students.
  • Modify the workbook, translate it, or create derivative works from it.
  • Remove or alter any copyright notice, watermark or branding.
  • Use the workbook content to train any artificial intelligence model.

Tutors, schools and teaching centres: if you want to use Elite Kids workbooks with multiple students or in a commercial teaching setting, please email us at elitekids@mindbe-education.com to discuss a separate commercial licence. The standard household licence does not cover this use.

For the purposes of this licence, "household" means the buyer plus the people living at the buyer's residential address, including immediate family members. Use beyond this is a breach of these terms and infringes our copyright. We reserve the right to take action, including the cancellation of your access and pursuit of damages, against any breach.

7. Refunds for Digital Products

Our workbooks are delivered immediately as digital downloads. Once a workbook has been downloaded, the sale is final and we cannot offer a refund.

Before you buy, please review the sample PDF where one is provided so you know what is in the workbook.

If something has gone wrong, contact us within 7 days of purchase and we will help. Examples of situations where we will offer a fix or refund:

  • The download link did not work or expired before you could use it.
  • The file you received was corrupted or unreadable.
  • You received the wrong workbook or year group.
  • The workbook was materially different from what we described on the website.

If you are buying from a country where consumer law gives you a statutory right to cancel digital purchases, your statutory rights are not affected by this policy.

8. Programme Bookings

Programmes are services with specific scheduled dates and limited places. Different rules apply to programme bookings than to digital workbooks.

Cancellation by you

  • More than 48 hours before a session: you can cancel for a full refund or reschedule to a future date at no charge.
  • Within 48 hours of a session: cancellation is treated as a no-show and the session fee is not refundable. You may reschedule once, subject to availability.
  • No-show: if you do not attend a booked session and have not given notice, the session fee is forfeited.

Cancellation by us

If we have to cancel a session for reasons outside your control (illness, technical failure, scheduling conflict on our side), we will reschedule at no charge or, if you prefer, refund that session in full.

Conduct

We expect respectful behaviour from students and from accompanying parents during sessions. We reserve the right to end a session and decline further bookings if conduct is abusive, threatening or seriously disruptive.

Programme materials

Materials provided as part of a programme (worksheets, recordings, marked work) are licensed for the use of the enrolled student only and are subject to the same household licence terms set out in section 6.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website and in our workbooks, programmes and programme materials, including text, illustrations, graphics, layouts, logos, brand names and audio or video recordings, is owned by Elite Kids or licensed to us. It is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property law.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, display, modify, translate or create derivative works from any of our content, except as expressly permitted in section 6 (workbook licence) or with our prior written consent.

The Elite Kids name and any associated logos and product names are our trademarks. You may not use them without our prior written permission.

10. Third-Party Services and External Links

Our website uses a small number of third-party services to operate, including SiteSell (hosting), E-junkie (shopping cart and payments), VIP Member Vault (digital downloads), Google (analytics and fonts) and Meta (advertising). When you interact with these services, their own terms and privacy practices also apply. We list and describe these in our Privacy Policy.

Our website includes links to other websites that may be useful or relevant. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices. Always review the terms of any external site before using it.

11. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Our products and programmes are designed to support English language learning. We work hard to make them effective, but we cannot guarantee any particular educational outcome. Progress depends on the student's effort, regular practice, school context and many other factors outside our control. Examples and testimonials on the website describe individual experiences and are not promises of similar results for every student.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of our products, programmes or website is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant product or programme. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or incidental losses.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

The website is provided on an "as is" basis. We make reasonable efforts to keep it available and secure, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or freedom from every security risk.

12. Governing Law and Changes

Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law. If a dispute arises that cannot be resolved by direct discussion, both parties agree to attempt good-faith negotiation before pursuing any formal claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make a meaningful change we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page and, for significant changes, post a notice on the website. Your continued use of the site or our products after a change is published means you accept the updated terms.

Severability

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable by a court, the rest of the terms remain in full force.
