This is a highly stressful time for parents and students, fighting for places in elite schools and international schools.

Below are some interview preparation tips to help you and your child get through the process.

Tips for Local Elite School Interviews here

ITips for International School Interviews (coming soon)

General Tips:

Ensure it is a positive experience for your child. Young children can sense the nervousness of parents and understand far more than we imagine.

Try to put yourself in their shoes - facing a stranger and being under scrutiny (imagine how it feels to be interviewed).

It can be a long and tiring day especially for the local schools. Ensure you pack enough snacks. A hungry and tired child will easily be grumpy.

By all means enrol your child in a program to help interview skills but select carefully as many centres charge high costs.
